Received documents and RADIAN

Query the invoices other companies issue to you through AdapterDian and respond to the DIAN with RADIAN events before the deadline.

The /receptions/v1 scope is your purchases inbox: invoices others issue to you, and how you respond to them before the DIAN.

The inbox

GET /receptions/v1/received-documents queries the technology provider on every call, which is who receives the documents from the DIAN. Nothing from this scope is stored in the adapter.

Filters: issued_from and issued_to (inclusive, YYYY-MM-DD), issuer_tax_id (with or without dots and check digit), number, cufe and page. A wide date range takes longer than a single day.

The id of each item is the one the events endpoint requires. It’s the provider’s identifier, not a UUID.

Upload by CUFE

A document may reach you another way (the issuer emails it to you) before it shows up in the inbox. Add it with its CUFE:

POST /receptions/v1/received-documents
{ "cufe": "…" }

Respond with RADIAN events

Three business days

Once the deadline passes, the invoice is tacitly accepted and can no longer be claimed.

The order is mandatory: acknowledgement → goods receipt → acceptance or claim. An invalid transition returns 409.

type Event
acknowledgement Acknowledgement of receipt
goods_receipt Receipt of the goods or service
claim Claim. Requires claim_concept_code.
express_acceptance Express acceptance
tacit_acceptance Tacit acceptance

actor is the person responding for your company before the DIAN, with their ID document, name, job title and department. A claim without claim_concept_code is rejected with 422 before it leaves: without a reason the DIAN doesn’t register the objection.

POST /receptions/v1/received-documents/{id}/events
curl -X POST https://adapterdian.piensait.com/functions/v1/receptions/v1/received-documents/$ID/events \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $ADAPTERDIAN_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "type": "claim",
    "actor": {
      "identification_document_code": "31",
      "identification": "901724254",
      "first_name": "Laura",
      "last_name": "Restrepo",
      "job_title": "Recepcion de facturas",
      "organization_department": "Compras"
    },
    "claim_concept_code": "02"
  }'

The response is 202 with status: "accepted" and acknowledged_at. Responding to received documents requires invoices:write.
